Pride of Baltimore II is a topsail schooner just like Chasseur. In fact, on deck she looks just about like the earlier ship. Below deck, however, she is a modern vessel with engines and up-do-date navigation equipment for safety. Like the great sailing ships of old, Pride II frequently sets on out on long, exciting expeditions - like her recent voyage to Asia. But she sails for different reasons than earlier ships. Pride II sails as the Goodwill Ambassador from the State of Maryland and the Port of Baltimore to the places she visits.
