Did you learn anything new? Sometimes people are surprised to know
that, in most places, the Bay is not very deep. Someone very tall
(like Michael Jordan!) could actually walk around in one-fifth of the Bay
without ever having the water go over his head! Maybe that doesn't
seem like such a big deal to you, but the shallowness of the water
makes it easy for sunlight to get through to plants, fish, and other
critters...which is a very big deal to them! Without that light, those
things couldn't live!
