Activity 1

For this activity you will need the Baltimore and the War of 1812 Activities Worksheet. Ask your teacher for a printout of the Worksheet if you don't already have one.

On your Worksheet, make a line graph by charting the export values.

When your graph is completed, look at your graph and the important dates.

Using what you have learned about the causes of the War of 1812, and the graph you have just created, describe the impact of the British-French Wars, the period of truce, and the Embargo Act on American exports.
