Show What You Know You now are ready to show what you have learned about Chesapeake Bay wetlands. Think again about the crew aboard Pride II as they travel around Chesapeake Bay. What are some of the animals they can expect to find on their journey? Do any of these animals live in or visit wetlands for food or shelter? What metaphor would you use to describe the wetlands? Pretend that you are a crew member aboard Pride II. Think about what you'd expect to see in the air, water, or on land. Then, draw a picture of a wetland scene that you might view from the ship, or write a short description of an encounter with a wetland creature. Remember to include your wetlands metaphor in your writing or drawing.
