Using Maps to find the Mysterious Islands Now that you have made your prediction, you are ready to locate the islands on a map of the Chesapeake Bay. Begin with this map of Maryland. Where did you predict these islands were located? If you look very carefully, you might even see some islands on this map. Did you find them where you predicted they would be? Do you see any islands on this map? Are they labeled? Do they give you enough detail to decide whether they are disappearing or not? It would probably help to look at some more maps, wouldn't it?
