Hour Long Video Takes YOU to Asia!
Pride of Baltimore, Inc., has just released a new, hour long documentary video
that encapsulates the ship's recent trip to Asia. Entitled: Asia with PRIDE -
A Video Voyage, the production presents dramatic on-board scenes, as well as
graphic pictures from the Panama Canal and ports of call in China, Taiwan, Korea,
and Japan. Most of the video was shot by Teacher Aboard Leslie Bridgett during
her extensive forays into the local cultures. However, several crew also recorded
events on their excursions around Asia. Asia with PRIDE - The Video Voyage
is narrated by Ms Bridgett, Captain Jan Miles, and Captain Dan Parrott from
excerpts of their logs posted on the Internet throughout the journey. Special
surprises include "Godzilla with PRIDE", a mini-video by Outbound engineer John
Shellenberger, and touching scenes from the Nov. 27 Homecoming showing Baltimore's
warm embrace of her returning heroes. The video was produced and edited by Pride
Inc.'s Director of Education, Jerome Bird, a video professional with dozens of
titles to his credit.
